IFCE is an offshore financial services firm based in Curacao, licensed by the Minister of Finance and supervised by the Central Bank of the Netherlands Antilles. We provide non-U.S. independent investment advisors and their non-US clients, cost-efficient access to global capital markets. We deliver execution, clearing and custody services along with middle and back-office operational support, enabling our correspondent financial advisors to focus on their primary goals: to attract, retain and manage client investment portfolios.
As a securities clearing service provider, we provide the robust operational platform and infrastructure necessary to support the capital markets transactions, trading and investment activity (across the entire trade lifecycle) of small-medium sized independent financial advisors. A key component of our platform is delivering the full suite of renowned capital markets products, resources and technologies of Pershing LLC, the wholly owned U.S. broker-dealer subsidiary of Bank of New York Mellon Corporation.
For the newly independent wealth manager, our platform is an efficient and cost-effective plug-n-play solution that allows you to quickly and efficiently obtain scalable business infrastructure and stability, a key requirement of clients and counterparties in today’s complex financial markets. As your middle and back-office provider, we take operational ownership of your trades through the entire trade lifecycle (pre- and post-execution, affirmation, confirmation, clearance & settlement, custody and ongoing asset servicing and reporting). We liaise directly with our custodians on your behalf, and conduct all required customer account opening and pre-trade compliance and KYC. Moreover, IFCE provides full support and training on Pershing’s full-suite of web-based portfolio management tools and technologies.
IFCE forms part of the SFT Group of Companies capitalized and owned by the Smeets Family Trust and shares unique complementary synergies with related firms SFT Bank (www.sftbank.com) and IFCE Fund Services (www.ifcefunds.com). Together, the three companies are able to offer bundled offshore financial services and solutions for sophisticated financial advisory firms seeking hedge fund and private investment fund solutions, as well as alternative custody and cash management solutions.
Through its association with CITCO, IFCE is also uniquely able to leverage the wealth of experience, substantial global resources and infrastructure of the CITCO Group of Companies (www.citco.com).
IFCE has also been selected by the recently launched Dutch Caribbean Securities Exchange (www.dcsx.an) to function as the administrative infrastructure of the exchange. The DCSX will operate as a licensed international exchange for the listing and trading of domestic and international securities and offshore investment funds. IFCE will be the operational, administrative hub supporting all of the exchange’s listing and trading activity.
